September 17, 2008 - COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Better Business Bureau introduced the Student of Integrity Awards program to honor high school students through a scholarship competition. A program of BBB’s Center for Character Ethics, the Student of Integrity Award recognizes high school seniors in the Central Ohio area who personify ethics through leadership, community service, overall personal integrity and academic history.

August 27, 2008, Columbus, Ohio – Your Better Business Bureau Foundation serving Central Ohio announced today the recipients of BBB’s 14th annual Integrity Awards.
Five businesses and two non-profit organizations have been selected as recipients of the prestigious 2008 Integrity Award.
Recipients of the 2008 Integrity Award, including a description of their line of business are: Finish Line Building – Builder/Remodeler; Kresge Contracting Inc. – Remodeler/Contractor; Artina Promotional Products – Promotional Products/Awards; HRH (Hilb, Rogal & Hobbs of Ohio) – Risk Management, Insurance Services and Employee Benefits; Waste Management of Ohio Inc. – Waste Removal, recycling & disposal.
The Non-Profit recipients are Jewish Family Services & Maryhaven.

| Statewide Essay Contest Finalists Announced

Columbus: Ohio Partners in Character Education (OPCE), the character education initiative of the Better Business Bureau’s Center for Character Ethics, announced the finalists in the 2008 Statewide Laws of Life Essay Contest today. The statewide contest, in its eighth year, is open to winners of local Laws of Life essay contests for both middle and high school students. A panel of business leaders, educators, and community volunteers judged the entries.

Your BBB serving Central Ohio announced today the launch of BBB’s Center for Character Ethics, a collaboration of powerful new state-of-the-art programs and resources dedicated to providing practical character ethics training for our current and future workforces.
BBB’s new home at 1169 Dublin Rd in Columbus will serve our Central Ohio community as the Center’s character catalyst, developer and provider of research, and best practices in leadership character ethics for business, educators and students through a working collaboration of like-minded experts and practitioners.
